DAY 23 Glory, Glory!
DAY 25 Remember and Give Praise

DAY 24 From Our Lips We Give Praise

Untitled-1

Psalm 103:3-5 (MSG)

     He forgives your sins—every one.
    He heals your diseases—every one.
He redeems you from hell—saves your life!
He crowns you with love and mercy—a paradise crown.
He wraps you in goodness—beauty eternal.
He renews your youth—you’re always young in his presence.

How amazing is the truth of each statement! There is enough in those few verses to inspire a lifetime of praise and worship.

If you participated in our 40 Days in the Word last year, you learned the “Pronounce It!” method of Bible study. In this method you read each statement over and over again, emphasizing a different word each time. I encourage you to take some time with me to worship God using the “Pronounce It!” method.

Take the first line in the Scripture above for example:

He forgives your sins – every one.” God, I worship you because you alone have the power to forgive my sins. No one else can forgive. And even though you don’t have to, you choose to forgive.

“He forgives your sins – every one.” God, I praise you because you have forgiven me! Thank you for not punishing me for my sins but for forgiving me.

“He forgives your sins – every one.” I exalt you, God, for not just forgiving others, but for forgiving my sins!

“He forgives your sins – every one.” It is sin that breaks your heart, that separates us from you and that cost your Son his life. Yet you have chosen to forgive sin. Wow. Praise you, Lord!

“He forgives your sins – every one.” Thank you for forgiving every one of my sins! You are worthy of my worship! You don’t just forgive some of my sins, but every one. Thank you! You are so good!

Let’s Pronounce our praise to God together today! He is worthy! Rather than writing it like the example above let's give praise from our lips. You can declare it out loud or even sing it. Either way, wouldn't it be a waste to just read this and go on to the next thing? Why not at least take the next few minutes to worship? Whatever is waiting for you to finish reading this I’m sure can wait another few minutes :)
